Product Description
Carbon electrode is an electrode composed of carbon elements, including natural graphite electrodes, artificial graphite electrodes, carbon electrodes and special carbon electrodes.
Carbon electrode is a kind of carbon conductive electrode, which is made of graphite carbon material and petroleum coke as main raw materials, coal tar pitch as binder, and is moulded, roasted, (graphitized) and machined.Carbon electrodes have excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, heat resistance, chemical resistance, high mechanical strength, and easy processing and forming. It uses the arc formed between the carbon electrode or graphite rod and the workpiece as a heat source for welding. The carbon arc temperature is as high as 3670~5000℃.
